We call PolyDesign Our cellular synthetic “Celuka” material insulates better than wood and our material will not warp due to sitting in hot windows as wood shutters may do. Celuka is a special process that makes our material surfaces much harder and therefore the shutters are stronger than normal solid vinyl shutters.
The Difference is our Finish!
Our paint finish is second to none and comes from a special Urethane Coating developed for PolyDesign exclusively. Our finishes will not chip, flake, crack, or peel. Our coating is also non-yellowing which is important over long periods of time. Our shutters are designed to last.
The Difference is American Made!
All PolyDesign materials are proudly made in the USA. We do not import shutter panels, assemble them in the USA and call them American Made. All our profiles are made in America and our shutters are painted and assembled in America as well. For this reason we can state confidently that we know what is in our shutters and there is no MDF, lead, or formaldehyde in our product. AVBCO is proud to be one of the few remaining shutter manufacturers in the USA producing 100% American Made products!
